Dentures

If you have lost several teeth dentures can be a good solution to help restore your smile and make it easier to chew and talk again.

We provide either full or partial removable dentures for patients to help them get a gorgeous and natural-looking smile.

Full dentures can replace all the teeth in your upper arch, lower arch, or both. Partial dentures leave some of your natural teeth to act as support.

FAQs

What are dentures?

Dentures are made of either acrylic (plastic) or metal. A ‘complete’ or ‘full’ denture is one which replaces all the natural teeth in either the upper or lower jaw. A ‘partial’ denture fills in the spaces left by lost or missing teeth. It may be fastened to your natural teeth with metal clasps or ‘precision attachments’.

How is the tooth prepared?

We will take measurements and impressions of your mouth, then order your dentures from a dental technician.

How long will my dentures last?

If you care for your dentures they should last for several years. However it is important to have regular check-ups with your dentist as they may need to be relined. Through normal everyday wear your dentures may also become loose so it’s important they are replaced if this happens.
