New patients

Currently, we are taking on new patients! To register, our team will need to take your details in order to book you in to the diary. The easiest way to do this is via telephone, please call the surgery on 02087647888 and our friendly reception team can book a registration exam. We are currently booking around 1-3 weeks in advance for these appointments. For information on costs, please visit our Fees page.

Archiving policy

Regular visits to your dental team can help you to identify any factors that could place your dental health at risk, allowing you to make small changes to your lifestyle to combat this and stop dental problems before they start. Here at The Minty pearls Dental Clinic we focus on prevention and recognise the importance of regular routine check ups.

This combined preventative approach focuses on keeping teeth and gums healthy for life and reduces the likelihood of needing expensive, complex and possibly painful dental treatments or emergency treatments in the future.

Our practice policy is to prioritise our regular attending patients in line with NHS advice. If you have not attended the practice in two years you will automatically be removed from our NHS list. You will have to re- register as a new patient once spaces become available. If you wish to be seen sooner you will have to register as a new Private Patient. If there are emergency slots not allocated to our regular patients on the day, you may be able to be seen on a private basis.

Cancellation policy

Generally, we book around one to two weeks in advance for our NHS appointments, its extremely important that you attend your booked appointment, you must give the practice 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep your appointment. This allows us to release the appointments to patients who may be waiting for an emergency.

We would like to politely remind all of our NHS patients that if two appointments are missed or a 24 hour cancellation notice is not given there is a possibility that we will not be able to offer you NHS treatment in the future, as per the NHS guidelines and our practice policy.

For our private patients, a £35 failure to attend fee will be charged automatically for missed private appointments, including hygiene appointments.

Any new patients or re – registering patients who fail to attend their first registration appointment or fail to give a 24 hours notice of a cancellation, will be unable to be seen again at the practice.
